OAGCT is an advocacy group in support of developing the state of Oklahoma's policy for the gifted, creative, and
talented within public education. Oklahoma's state board of education recognizes gifted and talented education as
separate from the general Special Education category. It is the desire of OAGCT to develop this area of the state's
division of education to serve these students to the greatest extent possible.
